How do I add an entry?
Tap Record, then pick a template or enter the tool, amount, currency, and date yourself. Templates are starting points — confirm the real price before saving.
How do I edit, pause, or delete something?
Tap a row to open the editor. Archive/pause hides a plan from active spend without deleting history. Delete removes the entry after a confirm tap.
Which currencies are supported?
USD, EUR, GBP, CNY, JPY, AUD, CAD, CHF, INR, KRW, SGD, HKD, MXN, BRL, and NZD. Each entry keeps its original currency. Overview totals, the widget, and reminders convert to your base currency using bundled rates or the overrides you set under FX.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. On iOS it can also sync through your personal iCloud Key-Value Store, and a display snapshot is shared with the Loop widget. See the
privacy policy.
Why didn’t the widget update?
Add or edit an entry in the app so Loop can rewrite the widget snapshot. Then remove and re-add the widget if iOS is still showing a stale timeline.
How do reminders work?
If you have active renewing plans, Loop can schedule local notifications 3 days and 1 day before the next charge. This is on-device, not a push server. iOS will prompt for notification permission the first time it is needed.
How do I back up?
Settings → Export saves a JSON backup. Export CSV if you want a spreadsheet. Import restores from a previous JSON file.
