What Loop stores

Ledger entries you create (provider, plan, amounts, currencies, dates, notes), plus app preferences such as language, base currency, exchange-rate overrides, sort order, and monthly budget.

This data stays on your device. Loop does not collect your name, email, payment card, location, contacts, or analytics identifiers.

Where it lives

• On device: Capacitor Preferences / local storage on the phone.
• iCloud Key-Value Store (iOS only): the same ledger and preferences are mirrored to your personal iCloud so they can restore on your other Apple devices signed into the same Apple ID. That copy lives in Apple’s iCloud, not on a Loop server. You can turn iCloud off for this app in iOS Settings.
• Home Screen widgets (iOS): a display-only snapshot (title, amount, due date) is written to the App Group group.com.lk.looptracker so the widget can render without opening the app.
• Local notifications (iOS): if you add renewing items, Loop may ask to send on-device reminders before a charge or reset. These are local notifications, not push messages from a Loop server.
• Exports you start: JSON or CSV backups leave the device only when you share or save the file yourself.

Loop does not use third-party analytics, ads, crash reporters, or tracking SDKs.

In-app purchases

Loop 2.0 does not include in-app purchases. The full ledger is available without an account or paid upgrade.

Deleting your data

Delete or archive individual entries in the app. Uninstalling Loop removes on-device storage and widget data. iCloud Key-Value copies follow Apple’s iCloud deletion rules for this Apple ID.
